A perfect day for a fastidious designer
I am bored! No pending projects! I am NOT without imagination.
Pot of Jo' brewin'-favorite tunes on. Hit the basement; hit the linen closet; the attic; dig out an old can of paint for a new look in my new room!
First cup of jo and a smoke - edit what I no longer want - empty room - take down the boring window treatments ...oh wait I can re-use the vintage linens as panels! Paint that wall-hmmmm a lovely crisp color!
Second cup of jo - paints a dryin'- clean/clean/clean-
Float the rug, float the furnishings; stagger the elements; use the toss pillows found in the attic; bring the outdoors in..an old garden gate panel on the wall; random art work to boot adjacent.
Third cup of Jo' second smoke - light the candles - sit back and admire and relax with a new design publication. That's my perfect day... what's yours?
